Thanksgiving is a time for gratitude, and at the Sonoma Valley Mentoring Alliance, we have so much to be thankful for.
To our 300 incredible mentees, from kindergartners to high school seniors: Thank you for saying “yes.” It takes courage to welcome someone new into your life, and we are endlessly inspired by the bravery and openness you show. Your willingness to share your lives, grow, and thrive with your mentors is the heart of what we do. Whether it’s crafting at a picnic, playing pool in a mentor center, or preparing for life beyond high school, we are so proud and thankful for each of you.
To our mentors: Thank you for showing up, listening, and believing in the power of connection. You bring stability, joy, and guidance into the lives of your mentees. Even when conversations are tough—or simply quiet—you keep showing up, and that is a gift beyond measure.
To our board members: Your tireless efforts to fundraise, recruit, and advocate for us are invaluable. Many of you are mentors yourselves, which speaks volumes about your dedication. Thank you for your leadership and for being true champions of mentoring.
